There is multi-faceted beauty to this one.
It does not say that the United States works for satan. It does
not even say the United States is trying to make satan proud.
It just happens to be that a lot of the things that the United States
has done are things that satan would be proud of. Also note, we say "United
States", not The American People. We speak of the United States more
as a symbol, like stars & stripes, and this is pure unadulterated flag
burning. People generally feel most justified in what they do, and
we would never assume to challenge their convictions.
Question from the Audience: Why not say "Satan is Proud
of G.W.Bush"?
Well, Audience, you'll note that while Dubyah has damaged the American
ImageTM amazingly well, and by the same right is quite deserving of satan's
admiration, the United States has been in the service of evil for many
years before he or his father came into power. Some crimes they can ignore,
others, well...
Q. Will this shirt ever go out of style?
A. Of course not! Just as the burning anger we feel toward one of
their award winning injustices dies down, rest assured the United
States
will do something else stupid enough to merit breaking
out the shirt again.
